FRAGMENT & MATTER
I move closer until I no longer quite know what I am looking at. Stone is almost no longer stone; wood loses its tree, moss its landscape. What remains are fissures, knots, repetitions, surfaces worked by time. I photograph that precise point where things are still recognizable, just before they become something else.
